Camarillo man arrested for burglary

A Camarillo man was arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen property after he allegedly broke into a home and a car this weekend, authorities said.

A Ventura County Sheriff's patrol deputy on Sunday morning arrested Octavio Bautista Garcia in the Rosewood Avenue area of Camarillo on suspicion of breaking into a home on the street earlier that morning, the sheriff's department said in a statement Monday night.

The illegal entry was reported on the 500 block of Rosewood Avenue about 4:50 a.m. A resident confronted the man, but he ran out of the home and police were unable to locate him. Nothing was taken.

A deputy arrested Bautista Garcia, 21, after finding him in the neighborhood about 90 minutes later, according to the statement.

The statement also said deputies found the young man with property stolen from a vehicle on the 500 block of Lantana Street.

Bautista Garcia was booked into the Ventura County Jail. He could face charges of illegally entering a residence and receiving stolen property.

Don't feel safe anymore, I remember when we could leave all the windows open, now I get to walk in to a scorching hot house each after noon after work then get to air the house out, that might not even be safe these days.....frustrating.

Out of morbid curiosity, what action do you expect the council members to take?

pcovery99 --- I was thinking the same thing. Remember years ago (before this illegal immigration crap) --- most people were safe. Today, I worry just walking my dog around the block if someone will be shooting from a car. What happened to AMERICA!!!!

what happened to America? The American dream became the "American Entitlement" and people don't want to work for it anymore and believe they should have it all handed to them and if it isn't, they will just take it.

The governement created this by all their hand outs....I am sure universal healthcare will make it all better....NOT!
