Prudential California Realty agents see the light

Renowned speaker Matthew Ferry speaks to agents in seminar hosted by Old Republic Title.

Agents from all five of Prudential California Realty's offices were treated to a wonderful opportunity arranged by broker/owner Bob Majorino and hosted by Old Republic Title Company, a seminar lead by renowned speaker Matthew Ferry was instructional, entertaining and uplifting.

It is commonly known that the current real estate market is a challenge.

During unfamiliar circumstances, agents who have been using tried and true methods for years are finding that they need to think outside the box and employ new techniques. Ferry is just the man for innovative ideas.

Attendees began with a breakfast buffet, then settled in to hear what Ferry had to say. Initially, the tone of the seminar was on a somewhat universal note.

He reminded everyone to focus on what is right and good. "Learn to find peace, joy and fulfillment on your way to being successful, not as a result of it," was one of the most powerful messages presented that day.

Then in a discussion targeted more toward the specifics of being an agent, he stressed that fear and uncertainty lead to action.

That is, the urge to do something. However, the doing can frequently be somewhat frenzied and mistakes can be made.

He went on to explain that a positive approach equals attraction. People naturally gravitate toward it.

"Get out of the doing and into the experience," Ferry urged.

In an exercise, Ferry asked agents to work on clarity; to define who they are and whom they want to work with, which helps to create one's own reality.

"Feeling good is the highest goal. When you feel good, things improve," he said. Perhaps most importantly, Ferry left the agents with the message, "Stop trying to make the sale and start making a difference for your client."

Enlightened and uplifted, attendees left the seminar with a fresh approach that will be of significant benefit to their buyers and sellers alike. Ferry invites others to visit the Web site at www.AcademyOfInfluence.com or call (949) 251-1255 for more information.
