Coldwell Banker agent goes extra mile, literally
When Lennie Confer heard of a family of five whose home was devastated by fire, she took immediate action. She rented a 10-foot U-Haul, and filled it with furniture that was donated by one of her clients. She then personally drove the 362 miles to Las Vegas to surprise the family.
The family was so shocked when Confer drove up. They couldn't believe that she would take all this time and effort to help a someone so far away.
This is just one example of the many things Confer does for her community. She regularly takes donations to the Women's Coalition, Rescue Mission and Salvation Army on behalf of her clients.
As a full time Realtor for 34 years and a third term president for Port Hueneme Rotary, she is used to "going the extra mile."
Confer works at Coldwell Banker Residential's Beach office and can be reached at 890-0449.
