Police surround house after stabbing
Ventura County sheriff's deputies have surrounded a house this afternoon in the 100 block of Teasdale Street in Thousand Oaks after being told that someone was stabbed there.
Deputies said a man was taken to the hospital with a stab wound to the leg. The wound is a "non-life-threatening injury," said sheriff's Capt. Bill Boyd.
Deputies were called to the home about 2:20 p.m. today. They ordered the evacuation of about 10 homes in the area and closed part of Teasdale Street, but they were not sure if the wound was self-inflicted or caused by someone else. Family members are currently being questioned.
