Robbery reported in Thousand Oaks

An armed robbery was reported in Thousand Oaks this afternoon, authorities said.

The robbery was reported in the 2200 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard at 1:08 p.m., said Capt. Bill Boyd of the Ventura County Sheriff's Department.

The victim told police the robber had a gun.

No other information was available and police were still on scene investigating as of 1:45 p.m., Boyd said.

No other information was available - I can't believe the police didn't say if it was a store or something else like what the robber looked like, what he was wearing, etc.
