Several county libraries to stay open longer
The Ventura County Library is expanding hours at several of its branches. Beginning Tuesday, new hours will be in effect at the following branches:
Simi Valley Library, 2969 Tapo Canyon Road, Simi Valley, 526-1735: Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday and Sunday, 1 to 5 p.m.; and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Oak View Library, 555 Mahoney Ave., Oak View, 649-1523: Monday through Thursday 1 to 6 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and closed Friday and Sunday.
Ray D. Prueter Library, 510 Park Ave., Port Hueneme, 486-5460: Monday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Tuesday and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Thursday, Friday and Saturday, noon to 5 p.m.; and closed on Sunday.
Oak Park Library, 899 N. Kanan Road, Oak Park, 818-889-2239: Monday and Tuesday, 2 to 8 p.m.; Wednesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and closed on Sunday.
H.P. Wright Library, 57 Day Road, Ventura, 642-0336: Monday and Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Wednesday and Friday noon to 6 p.m.; Thursday, 2 to 6 p.m.; Saturday noon to 5 p.m.; and closed on Sunday.
