Montana 37, S. Utah 17: Cole Bergquist passed for 150 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score while Dan Carpenter kicked three field goals of 41 yards or more to lead host Montana.
Air Force 34, South Carolina St. 3: Shaun Carney passed for 176 yards and a touchdown and Kip McCarthy ran for 129 yards to lead host Air Force.
Texas St. 38, Cal Poly SLO 35: Stan Zwinggi rushed for 165 yards and four touchdowns to lead host Texas State over Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
San Diego 42, Azusa Pacific 32: Andrew Rolin threw for 177 yards and four touchdowns for visiting San Diego.
W. Washington 28, UC Davis 21: Adam Perry passed for 362 yards and two touchdowns, and Western Washington spoiled the opening of UC Davis' new stadium.
