Naughty Boy!!!!
October 30, 2007You Naughty Boy...The new "newspaper" that recently premiered in Ventura, the Ventura Breeze, is owned, and published by Mr Sheldon Brown, a recent immigrant from the Los Angeles area. Mr Brown had asked me to write for him, however at a meeting he asked me if I could refrain from writing "hit" pieces about the local Gang in the Ivory Tower, (Ventura city hall) because he really didn't want to make any enemies on the Hill. I asked him if he was familiar with the way I wrote, he said he was, I then told him it would be better if he got somebody else to write for him since I really did not want to be told what to write. In the first issue there was an editorial praising the virtues of the C7 Measure that the Gang in the Ivory Tower is trying to push on the citizens of Ventura. I posted my opinion against his editorial on YourHub, Mr Brown took umbrage about my posting. So he sent me the following e-mail.thank you From: sheldon brown (venturabreeze@sbcglobal.net) http://by106w.bay106.mail.live.com/mail/ApplicationMain_12.0.1190.0927.aspx?culture=en-US&hash=555155913Sent: Tue 10/30/07 6:32 AM To: Ron Smith (res@venturastuff.com)
Apparently anyone who doesn't agree with you is a f------ expletive idiot. We do thank you for the publicity.I couldn't actually place the word that Mr Brown used in this posting, it's not suitable for a family web site. Mr Brown should know that the web is a very public place and anybody could pick up anything you write at anytime.Good Luck to Mr Brown in his endeavor.Rellis Smith
