SIMI VALLEY?S VERY OWN BIGGEST LOSERS!

Six weeks ago, 84 adults began a journey together to get their fitness IN CHECK.

The process was grueling, took dedication to themselves and major changes in their day-to-day lifestyles... but they kept their eyes on the prize and MADE IT!It was Simi Valley'soutdoor fitness boot camp that helped them in more ways than they could or would even imagine.

Yes, there were some days that the challenges turned them green (literally) from the exhausting efforts. Unfortunately for a few arriving late to camp they got extra push-ups assigned. Luckily every moment was planned in advance by the Program Director to improve their health at the correct gradient."Personally I like the body work and I dislike running but I know we have to do it" Lynette Townes writes on her final camp report. This was Lynette's first boot camp and she lost 10 ½ inches. "I have been to seven camps and every one of them has improved my cardio endurance and muscle strength. I give the program a 10 out of 10" says Larry Lee, Simi Valley resident. The camp is always outdoors, and it was difficult during the fire and wind storms. Luckily, Jackie Flame a fellow business owner, Simi Valley resident AND boot camper opened her Tang Soo Do University to the camp and they wrapped up their 6 th week with one day indoors (still sweating bullets every minute). You have to think about your health and how what you are doing today will create a better lifestyle later. As Lynette put it her goal was to 'Live well, love long, laugh often, and look fabulous!' and according to her she DID achieve it at boot camp.We are so proud of all of our graduates! They are so proud of themselves! And the support their friends and family gave them to make it through was incredible! The 11 th Tour of 805 Boot Camp begins on November 5 th and space is limited. Randy and Sarita Shoemaker keep the groups small to ensure the personal interaction can occur. "This is critical to helping people get through some of the toughest times. There are so many reasons why people DON'T work out and take care of themselves and we don't buy any of them. We want you to get moving and live a better lifestyle as soon as possible" Randy, owner of 805 Boot Camp says. The end of 2007 is near and there is still time to get busy on your own health!
