Send a Holiday Greeting to our Wounded Soldiers

Editor's note: Mailing information in this article is no longer correct. Please see the comment following this post (scroll to the bottom of the page) for more information. Thank you.

A good friend from Baltimore sent me an email suggesting that I send holiday cards to wounded soldiers. What a wonderful idea! As a minister concerned with ways to share our concern for all the soldiers and their families affected by the war, I wanted to spread this information.

One option is to send your card(s) or messages to:

A Recovering American Soldier

c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center

6900 Georgia Avenue, NW

Washington, D.C. 20307-5001

Another is to send them to your local Veterans Administration Hospital. This is a great project for Sunday Schools, families, and any group interested in sending a loving message to our wounded soldiers.

The Westlake Church of Religious Science offers a variety of ways to discover and share spiritual connection. Sunday services at 10:00 AM; Wednesday Night Alive at 7:00 PM. The WaterCourt, 880 Hampshire Rd, Westlake Village, CA 805-495-0105 www.WestlakeCRS.org
