GAME FACTS: It's not hard to see why Occidental, ranked No. 14 by D3football.com, is unbeaten and leading the SCIAC. Occidental is No. 1 in the conference in scoring offense (37 points per game), scoring defense (11.7 points), turnover margin (plus-three) and No. 2 behind Redlands in both total offense (438.8 yards per game) and total defense (338.2). CLU, meanwhile is ranked No. 3 in scoring offense, scoring defense, total offense and total defense. Individually, Occidental is led by QB Justin Goltz (113 of 177 for 1,370 yards, nine touchdowns and five interceptions) and WR Rocky Caisulli (37-548, four TDs). Occidental has won the last four meetings and five of the last six.
