A second "Riviera Nayarit Getaway" contest, with the winner receiving a one week accommodation for two in Riviera Nayarit, Mexico, will begin November 1. The contest is sponsored by DiscoverNayarit.com, a vacation rental, real estate and investment website exclusively for the Riviera Nayarit region just north of Puerto Vallarta. The website is based in Westlake Village.
Riviera Nayarit, which includes approximately 50 miles of beachfront property, draws snowbirds, vacationers and second home buyers from the U.S. and Canada. Five-star resorts, hotels and privately owned luxury condominiums populate this still largely undiscovered area of Mexico. Fonatur, Mexico's tourism development corporation, is investing $59 million in Riviera Nayarit. Fonatur has developed other resort destinations including Cancun, Ixtapa and Los Cabos.
DiscoverNayarit.com contains resort information, owner-direct vacation rentals, real estate listings, and investing, retiring and lifestyle sections for this Mexico Riviera coastal area, which includes the towns of Nuevo Vallarta, Bucerias, Punta De Mita, Savulita and San Francisco. Riviera Nayarit activities include deep sea fishing, surfing, golf on seven world glass golf courses, whale watching, jungle canopy tours, snorkeling, scuba diving, swimming with dolphins, hiking, horseback riding, biking, and many cultural points of interest.
