Ride On Students to be in Trailfest

Ride On students will enjoy a special trail ride during their therapeutic riding sessions next week as part of the program's annual Trailfest fundraiser. Much the same as a jog-a-thon, Ride On students collect sponsorships for their ride Oct. 30-Nov. 3, according to program director Gloria Hamblin, but they get the bonus of being on horseback!

Every participant in Trailfest who raises at least $50 gets a great t-shirt and Ride On gives prizes for riders and volunteers that raise the highest amounts.

This is one of the most important and fun fundraising events of the year for the students. Sponsorships from the public are also gratefully accepted - please give Sara a call at 805-375-9078 if you would like to make a donation.

Ride On is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of children and adults with disabilities through a unique combination of equine related sport, recreation and education.

Over 200 volunteers assist over 190 riders each week at our ranches in Chatsworth and Newbury Park. For more information about the program please visit our Web site at www.rideon.org.
