Meathead Movers seeking fire relief donations
Meathead Movers - a local moving company based in Camarillo and San Luis Obispo - is collecting emergency supplies to donate to the fire evacuees and victims across Southern California. All items must be brand-new.
- Personal Hygiene: Eye drops, hand sanitizers, sun-protection lotion, lip balm.
- Baby care: Diapers, wipes, formula.
- Bedding: Cots, air mattresses, blankets, pillows.
- Pet care: Dry food and pet bedding.
- Medical: Face masks, air filters, non-prescription asthma supplies.
- WATER, WATER, WATER!
Donations will be accepted THURSDAY, OCTOBER 25 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. at both Meathead Movers locations. We will be loading the trucks all day and delivering the donated items on Friday throughout Southern California.
- SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY: 144 Hind Lane, Suite 140, San Luis Obispo
- VENTURA COUNTY: 412 Calle San Pablo, Suite 200, Camarillo
This gives the public the opportunity to donate items that will go directly to those who need it. According to those organizing the disaster relief efforts, sending bulk donations of brand new goods is the most efficient way to provide and process supplies to help those in need. Because we know so many in the community are longing to help in any way they can, we are offering to provide the bulk transport using Meathead Mover's fleet of moving trucks to ease the burden on those facilitating the emergency care facilities. Please visit MeatheadMovers.com and click "Contact Us" for maps to either location. If anyone needs more information, please contact Aaron Steed or Erin Cromwell at (805) 544-6328.
