Education fundraiser to feature musicians

El Centrito's Flor y Canto Celebration of the Arts event will be at the Poinsettia Pavilion in Ventura Saturday.

The event, which takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. includes dinner, a performance by the Moraga Family Quartet and additional entertainment by classical guitarist Carlos Gonzales. Pablo Ortiz, sales executive for Gold Coast Broadcasting, will serve as the master of ceremonies.

Tickets are $75 per person.

Proceeds will benefit El Centrito's educational programs, which focus on English literacy development, parent education services and skill-building through the use of computer technology.

The Poinsettia Pavilion is at 3451 Foothill Road, Ventura.

El Centrito is a nonprofit organization.
