New Mexico 20, San Diego St. 17: Rodney Ferguson's 6-yard touchdown run with 15 seconds left in the game lifted visiting New Mexico in a Mountain West Conference game.

Air Force 20, Wyoming 12: Shaun Carney threw two touchdown passes and Bobby Giannini returned a fumble 85 yards for a score early in the fourth quarter to lead host Air Force.

BYU 42, Eastern Washington 7: Harvey Unga rushed for 145 yards and scored two touchdowns to lead host Brigham Young in heavy snow that blanketed the field by the end of the game.

San Diego 62, Jacksonville 24: Josh Johnson threw for five touchdowns and ran for another to lead San Diego. Johnson only played the first half as the Toreros (7-0, 4-0 Pioneer Football League) won their 23rd consecutive home game.

Montana St. 20, Sacramento St. 9: Host Montana State scored all of its points in the final 16 minutes to post a win over Sacramento State.

Montana 52, N. Colorado 7: Cole Bergquist passed for 292 yards and a career-best four touchdowns and Lex Hilliard rushed for 112 yards and set the school's career rushing touchdown record in host Montana's win.

N. Arizona 29, Weber St. 20: Cyrus Igono returned an interception 24 yards for a touchdown and blocked a punt for a safety as visiting Northern Arizona beat Weber State.

New Mexico St. 45, Idaho 31: Chase Holbrook, returning from a two-game absence, threw for 404 yards and three touchdowns while Tony Glynn ran for two scores, leading host New Mexico State.

Idaho St. 38, Portland St. 20: A 28-point third-quarter burst — including two long fumble returns for touchdowns — gave host Idaho State a win over Portland State.

UC Davis 41, S. Utah 21: Matt Engle passed for 295 yards and three touchdowns to lead UC Davis to a win at Southern Utah.

S. Dakota St. 48, Cal Poly SLO 35: Cory Koenig rushed for 259 yards and four touchdowns as host South Dakota State beat Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in the Jackrabbits' Great West Conference opener.
