Fredrick and Patricia Graning celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary, surrounded by their many friends and loving family, at an Anniversary Open House on October 20, 2007. Given in their honor, the party was hosted by their daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Alan Odle, along with their grandchildren, Melissa and Ryan Odle. Highlights of the party included a DVD, celebrating their marriage, along with a presentation of a surprise trip to one of Fred and Pat's favorite destinations, the historic Hotel Del Coronado located in San Diego. The talented Fern Barishman performed many favorite piano selections, making the evening a joy for all who came to express their love and admiration for these 2 beautiful people.

Fred and Pat met, fell in love, and married on Oct. 22, 1957. After Fred's 4 year service with the United States Air Force, and the birth of their daughter Vicky, Fred and Pat moved their young family to Lawndale, California. Soon after, Fred relocated his family to a brand new little town called Newbury Park. Here, they bought a new home, raised their daughter, and today still call Newbury Park their beloved home. Fred and Pat never tire of waking up to their views of Old Boney Mountain, or being with neighbors who have lived there as long as they have, and who are like family to them.

Fred retired after many years of devoted service to several divisions of Rockwell International. Many of those years were spent working with the Space Program. Fred is a man of God, and a man of honor. He is always there for his friends and family. Fred is a very special man, in God's eyes, and in ours.

Pat has given endless hours to raising their daughter, along with using her many artistic talents to countless Church and school events. From Pat's love of gemstones, Carnival Glass, and the Arts, her talents are endless. Pat loves her Lord with all her heart. She is truly a blessing to all who are fortunate enough to know her.

Today, Fred and Pat find love in the First Baptist Church of Camarillo, enjoy traveling, antique shopping, and spending time with their family. One of their greatest joys is watching their granddaughter Melissa perform her flute. Before every concert, Melissa looks to see her grandma's smiling face!

Please join us in wishing these 2 very special people much love, more memories, and more years of blessings

Congratulations Mom and Dad!We love you very much!
