Tony Snow to speak at Reagan Library

Tony Snow, former White House press secretary, will talk about "The Politics of Optimism" in a lecture Friday at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum.

His speech at 6 p.m. will be followed by dinner. Tickets are $50, and reservations must be made by Monday, library officials said.

On Sept. 14, Snow stepped down from his position as the White House press secretary for President George W. Bush. Snow also worked for President George H.W. Bush as chief speech writer.

After years of regular guest-hosting for "The Rush Limbaugh Show" and providing news commentary for National Public Radio, he launched his own talk radio program, "The Tony Snow Show," which went on to become nationally syndicated. Snow was also a regular personality on Fox News Channel since 1996, hosting "Fox News Sunday," "Weekend Live," and often substituting as host of "The O'Reilly Factor."

For reservations to the lecture and dinner, call 522-2977.

So, if protesters show up on Olson Road, maybe holding signs decrying lies and spin, will the Reagan Library be billed $40k for police protection?

Just wondering.

Why would you protest Tony Snow? Just because he was the press secratary for Mr. Bush does not make him a bad man. Some of you folks need calm down a bit.
