Walking the walk for the City of Hope

Real estate agents and managers joined forces to participate in the 2007 Walk of Hope benefiting the City of Hope in Duarte on Nov. 17. The Dilbeck & Associates Charitable Foundation financially supported this event as a local sponsor while the individual Dilbeck agents supported the event by Walking the Walk and collecting donations from family and friends.

Originally scheduled for Oct. 28, the Walk was rescheduled to this past weekend due to the poor air quality caused by the fires. The weekend event turned out to be a family walk as well as a family festival featuring many activities for the children, In 'N' Out Burgers and a concert afterwards.

"We are so fortunate to have an world renown organization like the City of Hope right here in our backyard," said Mark Dilbeck, president of Dilbeck & Associates Charitable Foundation. "And we salute the progress they have made in cancer research."
