A Star Subscriber Family in Egypt

As early as February of this year my wife and I were dreaming of a trip to Egypt and then in the Ventura Star's May 27th Escapes, the Star published an article "Egypt isn't a vacation, but an enriching destination."

Well, that was enough to make us realize our dream with a 16 day tour of Egypt traveling over 1,400 miles in-country. We started on October 23rd with a 20+ hour 7,600 mile series of flights from Oxnard to London to Cairo, Egypt.

The photo was taken at the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut on the west bank of the Nile at Luxor. We are holding the issue that moved a dream to action. We had saved the article for six months in the hope of being able to show Star readers that dreams can come true.

We have a blog site: epags.livejournal.com/tag/egypt

When you enter the site, scroll to the bottom to start at the beginning of the trip.
