Man arrested on sex charges

Police investigators arrested a 23-year-old man Thursday on suspicion of luring a minor for sex acts in Thousand Oaks, authorities said.

Felix Dua Jr. of Corona corresponded with an undercover investigator on the Internet for about a month, according to a statement from Thousand Oaks police. Dua thought he was going to meet a 13-year-old girl to have sex Thursday, but was instead met by investigators at an arranged meeting place in Thousand Oaks, police said.

Dua was charged with one count of luring a child with the intent to commit a lewd act and has since been released on bond.

Investigators served search warrants Friday at Dua's residence and workplace in Mission Viejo. The investigation is continuing.

This is nothing new..everyday its a new sicko luring on our poor children. This world is so over sexed! Not only do these perverts keep us parents on our toes, they are stealing the innocence from these poor kids! I hope he never is allowed on our streets again..If justice isnt served then I hope Christ deals with him and all the rest that are out there.

"This world is so over sexed"
Oh please, if anything the US [vs. other countries] is rather conservative/repressed. IMO this doesn't have to do with sex, but rather with someone that needs help.
I'm glad we have laws to deal with crimes against children. And, I find it sad that there are those that would even consider such an act.

Don't you guys watch Chris Hansen on Dateline - working with perverted justice to catch these perverts? There are thousands of these guys - all types, ages, backgrounds - teachers, doctors, coaches, military & the unemployed. Don't be surprised! What's amazing is --- they don't think they're perverts.

Anna,

It's ironic that you're "so glad to see these predators arrested," yet in other threads on this site, take sides with individuals that sue our cops, BEFORE their accusations are proven. It appears that you don't believe that "innocent until proven guilty" is applicable to police officers, so your effort to appear to support law enforcement is hollow and devoid of substance, much like the vast majority of your comments on this site.

i'm sorry but i do not agree with the fellow who says that our country because of the religious rite deems this wrong IT IS WRONG a 13 year old is no more a adult than a 18 year old girl they're still children maybe when he has a daughter he'll change his mind and become a hypocrite.send the jerk to jail and throw the key away right now its a 13 yr old later it might be a 6 year old. think about it!
