FIDELITY NATIONAL ?ADOPTS? SENIOR CONCERNS

THOUSAND OAKS, November 5, 2007- "Serving the community - supporting the community is what we're all about," said Fidelity National Title Company Westlake Village office receptionist Shelley Engle. "And one of the most personally rewarding elements of our business operation every month is the choice by our employees of a worthy local charity to support."October 2007 was the month for Senior Concerns' Adult Day Center in Thousand Oaks. Halloween Day marked the culmination of 30 days of careful study of the daily needs of the dozens of frail elderly and special-need seniors who share in the socially and mentally stimulating programs offered by the private, non-profit Hodencamp Rd. facility which has been operated since 1978.Engle, accompanied in costume by Fidelity National Escrow Assistant Patti Nicassio, Office Manager Kelly Theriault and Escrow Officer Kim Cruz, arrived at Senior Concerns laden with a compact disk/tape player, music cd's, table games, trivia books, arts and crafts supplies, ingredients for a Halloween cookie decorating project and ice cream, chocolate syrup and whipped cream for an ice cream social paid for with cash or item donations from fellow employees."Our program participants were overwhelmed by the generosity and interest of all the Fidelity National employees," said Janet Cox, Senior Concerns' program planner. "It's positive testimony to the recognition by the area community that we provide a critically important service for a growing population of aging people who otherwise might have to be institutionalized by their family caregivers."Senior Concerns Adult Day Center operates Monday through Friday and two Saturdays a month to offer a full range of mentally and physically stimulating social activities in a modern, safe environment. The Center is professionally staffed, open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and serves a full sit-down lunch and afternoon snack."We were certainly pleased with our employees' choice of Senior Concerns for our October adoption," Engle said. "The organization chosen is contacted to identify its needs, and a list is offered to each of our employees for consideration to donate for a specific item or to a general fund. It's our way of giving back to the community."In addition to its Adult Day Center, Senior Concerns runs the area's Meals on Wheels program for the homebound elderly, conducts a family support services and informational program, manages Ventura County's Financial Abuse Specialist Team, Ventura County's Alzheimer's Day Care Resource Center, Senior Advocates information and referral service and the Bargain Boutique & Thrift Shop. For additional information about Senior Concerns, call (805) 497-0189 or log on to its website at www.seniorconcerns.org.
