The Congressional meetings were part of the agenda for the NBCC bi-annual gathering. Now in its 28th year, the NBCC provides elected Century 21 System broker representatives from across the country the opportunity to give feedback to the brand's corporate management team on current programs and initiatives. A collaborative forum by design, NBCC is a high-energy meeting where new ideas are introduced and Broker/corporate relationships reinforced.

Each of the Century 21 System's 27 national regions elects two NBCC representatives from its roster, each of whom serves two-year terms. Their duty is to present the issues and challenges from their respective regions at the national gathering, and then work with the other national NBCC representatives and members of Century 21 International Headquarters staff to find solutions.

Founded in 1979, the NBCC is a representative body designed to give Century 21 System members a voice in how the System operates. The group is governed by a set of bylaws approved by the Congress as a whole.

Century 21 Adobe Realty broker, Congress discuss real estate issues

AGOURA HILLS — Michael Schaller, Broker/co-owner of Century 21 Adobe Realty, recently met with Congressman Elton Gallegly and Senators Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein to address challenges and opportunities in the local real estate market as part of the Century 21 National Brokers Communications Congress held in Washington, D.C. Schaller represents Century 21 System affiliates from Southern California.

Schaller was one of more than five dozen Century 21 System Broker and International Headquarters representatives from across the country to meet with their respective local government lawmakers to discuss real estate issues affecting the specific communities they reside in and serve; and also to address broader topics including: subprime mortgages, increase of conforming loan limits, Federal flood insurance and small business health plans.
