Homelessness Focus of Bowls of Hope Fundraiser
Many Mansions' 3rd Annual Bowls of Hope Project is coming up and you will not want to miss it! This exciting event takes place on Sunday, November 11 at Calamigos Ranch from 11:30am to 3:00pm.
Twenty delicious varieties of soup and gourmet breads have been donated by local restaurants to support the event. In addition, this year will feature Ben & Jerry's as our ice cream sponsor. The Bowls of Hope Project simulates a soup line for the needy, featuring soup servers who are local dignitaries, Many Mansions Board members, and friends. You will symbolically experience a soup line, just as many low-income and homeless people may have experienced at some time in their lives.
As part of the fundraising event, you will have the opportunity to bid on wonderful silent auction packages including dinners, shows, spa packages, professional services and more! The event will also feature 2 raffle prizes, a weekend stay at the Four Seasons (including breakfast and spa package) and a brand-new iPhone.
All guests receive their choice of a hand-painted ceramic bowl, donated by local artists and community members. Additional bowls are available for purchase. All proceeds support Many Mansions' service programs.
For more information, call 805-496-4948 x236; tickets are $25 before Friday, November 9, and $30 at the door.
