St. Bonaventure names Gianelli athletic director
Mike Gianelli has been hired as athletic director at St. Bonaventure High, announced Principal Marc Groff.
Gianelli replaces Jon Mack, who resigned as football coach and athletic director to become the Ventura College football coach.
The department chairman for social studies at St. Bonaventure, Gianelli is the school's boys' varsity golf coach and has been an assistant varsity football coach for seven years.

Local companies earn Corporate trophies
Amgen I rolled up 194 points to win the Division AA team trophy in the 2007 Ventura Corporate Games, which featured 24 sporting events in 30 days from April 18 to May 19.
County Ventura I finished second with 129 points. Wellpoint I was third with 81 points. City of Ventura I was fourth with 75. Naval Base Ventura County I and Amgen II each finished with 71 points.
Patagonia earned the B Division championship with 113 points. Teledyne finished second with 103 points. California Amp had 63 points, Invitrogen 60 and Weyerhauser 58.
City of Santa Paula celebrated the C Division title with 80 points. AMC scored 76, followed by Valex 71, Northrop Grumman 57 and ADP 52.
Las Posas Children's Center won the D Division championship with 60 points. ENSR was second with 52 points. Jensen Design was third with 45, Jano Graphics added 44 and Oxnard City Fire was fifth with 43 points.
