The top-seeded Oaks Christian School softball team was upset by California High of Whittier 3-2 in the second round of the CIF-Southern Section Division III playoffs on Tuesday.
Tiffany Lookabill hit a two-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to break a scoreless tie before the Condors (16-15) answered with a three-run fifth. The Lions concluded their season with a 27-4 record.

Cornerstone Christian 10, Providence 5: Christine Yamek went 4 for 4 with three doubles, a triple and four RBIs to pace the second-round win at Mission Oaks. Christina Aguilera had three RBIs. Cornerstone Christian improved to 14-3 and will the winner of St. Genevieve or Mesa Grande on Thursday.
Division I second-round scores: Valencia 5, Simi Valley 0; Ramona 2, Royal 1
