Man held after 3 stabbed; alcohol possibly a factor
A 22-year-old Thousand Oaks man was arrested Saturday afternoon after three people were stabbed, the Ventura County Sheriff's Department said.
Martin Sanchez could face charges of assault with a deadly weapon after he allegedly stabbed the victims with a weapon believed to be either a knife or broken bottle, said Capt. Ross Bonfiglio of the Sheriff's Department.
Two of the victims are brothers Augustine and Jesus Gonzalez, 50 and 39 years old, respectively. Both are from Thousand Oaks. The third victim was Salvador Diego Nicholas, 44.
Augustine Gonzalez was taken to Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, but the other victims refused treatment, Bonfiglio said. Police suspect the incident may have involved alcohol since there were beer bottles at the scene, Bonfiglio said.
Police did not believe there were other assailants or victims, Bonfiglio said.

Once again, trying to bring Oxnard down. This stupid incident sure didnt happen in Oxnard, but hey, we still have to keep the bad rep goin' so lets put it in their section... WAKE UP! OTHER CITIES ARE JUST AS BAD!!!!! (we just dont hear about it as much)
Anyway, what's a 22 yr old doing with these grampas in the first place??

Thousand Oaks has to keep it's 'low-crime' reputation in front of the world, so when an assault happens within their city borders, they throw the story somewhere else. Afterall, doesn't Oxnard already have a bad rep? How could this story hurt Oxnard?
(Keep your criticism down...this comment is sarcasm.)

Whosaidwhat - This wasnt in the conejo valley section this morning when I posted that comment. I didnt say "Why ISNT this in the Oxnard Section" I said "Why IS this in the Oxnard section?" They must have moved it after my posting. It was originally in the Oxnard section of the local news. I've lived in Oxnard for years, so I wasnt knocking the town.
