Classic Japanese dances featured

The Azuma School of Classical Japanese Dance of Ventura County will hold a traditional Japanese dance program at 2:30 p.m. June 24 at the Thousand Oaks High School Performing Arts Center, 2323 N. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

The program will feature 36 of the school's dancers in full traditional costumes.

The dancers range from 4 to adult and come from various parts of the Conejo Valley and Ventura County, including Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Agoura Hills, Oak Park, Camarillo and Simi Valley.

Light refreshments will be served after the performance.

Tickets are available at the door for $8, $6 for seniors (62 and over), $6 for youth (3 to 17), and free for children 2 and under.
