Another convenient and very affordable way of getting to the fair is to utilize the Gold Coast Transit (formerly SCAT) Route 12 bus that will drop you off right at the fairgrounds on Harbor Blvd. For only $1.25 (or $3.00 for all day pass) you can catch the Route 12 bus at the Ventura Harbor, throughout Pierpont, or in Downtown Ventura - where convenient connections from Ojai (Rt. 16), East Ventura (Routes 6, 10 or 11) and Oxnard and Port Hueneme (Route 6) can be made. why do the rides cost so much? I heard this year that buying the tickets early didnt help much because you still have to give them more then one ticket. Is that true?
