Two men linked to burglary at construction site arrested

Ventura County sheriff's deputies have arrested two Simi Valley men on suspicion of burglarizing a construction site.

Deputies responded to an alarm at a construction site at Ridgemark and Shadow Wood drives in Moorpark about 5 a.m. Thursday and detained two men they found leaving the scene in a pickup truck, the Sheriff's Department reported.

Deputies found $7,000 worth of electrical wire in the truck bed, authorities said.

Amilkar Ramos Medina, 23, and Adrian Estrada, 28, were arrested on suspicion of burglary. Both were being held Friday in Ventura County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.
