Pipe bursts, flooding technology company
The headquarters of a Camarillo technology company flooded early Monday when a pipe ruptured, authorities said.
Ventura County Fire Department personnel responded at 5:01 a.m. to a call of flooding at G&H Technology at 750 W. Ventura Blvd., said department spokesman Capt. Barry Parker.
Firefighters spent more than an hour working to plug a leak in a riser, a pipe that feeds the sprinkler system, Parker said.
The fire department had not determined the cause of the leak or the extent of the damage, Parker said.
A recorded message at G&H Technology on Monday said the business would be closed until further notice but deliveries would not be affected.
G&H Technology designs and manufactures electro-mechanical connectors for military, aerospace and commercial uses, according to its Web site.
