Morning Report: Traffic accidents reported near Oxnard, in Camarillo

Traffic: A car went off Laguna Road into a ditch near Las Posas Road in the Oxnard Plains shortly after 6 a.m. today, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Ventura County Fire Department personnel responded to the scene, according to the department's Web site. It did not appear that anyone was trapped in the vehicle.

At 6:48 a.m., the CHP was reporting at least three vehicles with flat tires blocking lanes on Highway 101 southbound just south of Camarillo Springs Road in Camarillo.

A non-injury traffic accident was also reported on Santa Clara Avenue just south of Wright Road near Camarillo.

Weather: Partly cloudy conditions are expected today, the National Weather Service reported.

Forecasts show high temperatures ranging the lower 70s at beaches to the lower 90s in valleys.

Police and Fire: Last night and this morning were quiet and routine, law enforcement and fire officials said.
