Oxnard Man robs bank; no one was injured, police say
A man who appeared to be in his late 40s robbed an Oxnard bank Monday afternoon, authorities said.
The man walked into the Bank of the West, 371 W. Esplanade Drive, about 2:25 p.m., demanded money from a teller and left with an undisclosed amount of cash, police reported.
No weapon was seen, and no one was injured during the robbery.
Anyone with information about the crime should call Oxnard police at 982-7070 or the FBI at 64995.

The article stated a man in his 40s robbed a bank in Oxnard. How did they know the man was from Oxnard?

They don't know the man was from Oxnard only that he was in his 40's however they do know the bank is in Oxnard. Read the article again when you wake up or after your first cup of coffee at least watts_gonon. :-)
