Health Fair on tap by Senior Retreat
The sixth annual Senior Health Fair sponsored by Agoura Hills Senior Retreat will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Aug. 4 at 5217 Cheseboro Road, Agoura Hills.
More than 20 vendors will provide information and services for senior citizens.
Vendor fees of $25 per table will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association.

MOORPARK
Life's transitions are topic at adult center
"Strategies for Life Transitions" will be the topic for guest speakers Dianne Meyer-Sasada and Michele Berry at 10 a.m. Aug. 1 at the Moorpark Active Adult Center.
The talk will cover coping with changes in life, including "empty nest syndrome," retirement, physical changes, loss of friends, family and spouse, and changing purpose in life.

Low-cost car insurance program to be explained
Isabelle Barrajas of the California Department of Insurance's Consumer Education and Outreach Office will talk about the low-cost automobile insurance program at 11 a.m. Aug. 6. The talk will be at the Moorpark Active Adult Center, 799 Moorpark Ave., Moorpark.
The program's purpose is to provide low-income good drivers with access to affordable liability insurance.
Sign-ups for the event begin Wednesday. For information or reservations, call 517-6261.
VENTURA
Exercise class set for Parkinson's patients
"The Art of Moving," an exercise class for people with Parkinson's disease, is offered from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the SCAN Health Plan Senior Connections Resource Center.
Participants learn ways to cope with Parkinson's symptoms and practice performing such everyday tasks as walking, turning, sitting down, standing up and reaching.
The center is at 1001 Partridge Drive, Suite 200, Ventura. The program is free and open to the public.
