Jeanette Victoria Janousek became the bride of Robert Blaise Hardy, Jr. on a beach in Kauai, Hawaii on May 11, 2007.

The nuptials were officiated by the bride's brother, Paul Janousek, of Denver, Colorado.

The bride is the daughter of Jim & Vicki Janousek of Simi Valley. The groom is the son of former Simi Valley residents, Bob & Cathy Hardy, now living in Tehachapi, CA.

Matron of honor was Mindy Gallo, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids included Allison Janousek, sister of the bride, Nina Porro, friend of the bride, and sisters of the groom, Shauna Bruce and Suzie Snell.

The bride was dressed in a beautiful white backless gown with baby blue highlights. Jeanette, escorted by her father, walked onto the beach to music played by John Snell on the trumpet and Suzie Snell on the saxophone.

Best man was Rody Hardy, brother of the groom. Groomsmen included Anthony Gallo, brother in law of the bride, Peter and Matt Janousek, brothers of the bride, and John Snell, brother in law of the groom.

All attendants wore Hawaiian print, plus the groom, his father, and his groomsmen wore kilts. The groom was led onto the beach to bagpipe music played by his sister, Suzie Snell.

Bob and Jeanette both graduated in 1992 from Royal High School in Simi Valley. Jeanette graduated from UC San Diego in 1996 and is now employed by CFA/GC Valves in Simi Valley. Bob graduated from Moorpark College and attended Cal State Northridge. He then served in the Army as an Arabic interpreter during his enlistment. Bob is currently employed as a senior underwriter for Wholesale Lending Online.

The couple celebrated with a luau reception, followed by a Hawaiian honeymoon. A mainland reception was held on June 2 at the Janousek family home. The newlyweds are making their new home together in Simi Valley.
