Albert (Al) & Mexie Duff celebrated a joyous 50th Golden Anniversary on June 22nd at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Oxnard, California. They were blessed to have their children in attendance: Marcia, Monica, Albert Jr., Erica and Eric (in spirit), along with their eight grandchildren, and over 200 friends and family. Many came from near and far to celebrate with Al and Mexie on this blessed occasion.
Their wonderful journey began when they were married on June 20, 1957 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Albert is a retired Civil Engineer from the County of Ventura. He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of the Oxnard School District. Mexie retired from the Oxnard School District after having served as teacher and school principal.
Albert and Mexie have been active members of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, as well as in the Oxnard Community for many years.
