VENTURA

Boyle Engineering sells 4 office buildings

CB Richard Ellis has assisted Boyle Engineering in its sale of a four office building portfolio with properties in Ventura, Newport Beach, San Diego and Orlando, Fla.

The portfolio was more than 86,000 square feet and was purchased by a pension fund adviser for more than $30 million.

CBRE Ventura County office brokers Bill Clark and Chuck Engel were joined by Robert Smith, Paul Jones, Karen Scholte and Michael Kane, a brokerage team out of Newport Beach, in their representation of Boyle Engineering's interests in the Ventura property sale. The 17,500-square-foot Class B office building at 5851 Thille St., was sold and is being leased back by Boyle from the new owner.

Boyle Engineering, which specializes in water resources, water treatment and distribution, sewerage and water reclamation, storm water, and transportation projects, is headquartered in Newport Beach, and has 25 other offices across the United States.

NEWBURY PARK

Wells Fargo Plaza sells for $7.9 million

Sperry Van Ness, a large commercial real estate brokerage firm, has completed the off-market sale of Wells Fargo Plaza, a 17,000-square-foot office/retail property fully occupied by Wells Fargo Bank, to Thousand Oaks-based Graham Trust for $7.9 million.

The property is at 925 Broadbeck Drive, Newbury Park.

Jeffrey C. Albee, CCIM; Jeffrey Gould and Chris Itule of Sperry Van Ness in Woodland Hills, who specialize in commercial investment sales in the northern Los Angeles County and Ventura County markets, represented the buyer, who was in a 1031 exchange.

The seller, Thousand Oaks-based Camino Dos Rios LLC, represented itself.

Originally built in 2005, the property is situated on one acre of land and is in the Village at Newbury Park Shopping Center across the street from Target and Home Depot.

OXNARD

20-unit property sold for $3.45 million

Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services has arranged the sale of a 20-unit property at 5034 Nautilus St. in Oxnard for $3.45 million.

Greg Kaiser and Kenneth Stevens of the firm's Encino office represented the buyer, Nautilus 5034 LLC.
