Man, 52, arrested in drug-related case
A 52-year-old Santa Paula man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm by a felon, police said.
Adolfo Garcia, known as "Gato," was arrested at a home in the 500 block of East Santa Barbara Street in Santa Paula about 8:30 a.m., authorities said.
Santa Paula police, Ventura County sheriff's deputies and federal agents went to the home as part of a drug investigation and found drug paraphernalia, a handgun and a small amount of marijuana, police reported.
Garcia was arrested and booked at County Jail, police said.
