SCORPION CLINIC: The Camarillo High football staff, led by coach Dennis Riedmiller, will put on a clinic on July 21 from 8 a.m. to noon. There will be a barbecue at noon for all participants. Registration will start at 7 a.m. The first 100 registered players will receive a clinic T-shirt. Cost is $20. NEWBURY PARK: The Newbury Park High program will hots the Black and Gold — Air It Out football camp for players 7-15. The camp will run from July 28 and July 30-Aug. 2. Fee for the camp is $50. AURAND CAMP: Christian Aurand will host a camp at Simi Valley High for players in grades 2-8 on July 16-20. Camp hours will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost is $90 for one week. Information: 584-4400.

WE PLAY HARD CAMP: Ventura College's Ned Mircetic will host the We Play Hard Camps on July 16-19. All sessions will meet from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost in advance is $145. There's a family discount for two or more players for $125 each. Information: 654-6400, ext. 3245.

VOLLEYBALL

MVP LEAGUE: Registration is being accepted for the MVP Softball League. Divisions will be 8 and under, 10 and under, 12 and under, 16 and under and high schools.
