CONEJO VALLEY — The Strike Out Lou Gehrig's All-Star Tournament will be hosted by Conejo Valley Little League July 19-22. Twenty-four teams from Central and Southern California will compete in 12-and-under, 10-and-under, 8-and-under divisions, There will be an opening-day clinic for all players. BASKETBALL

Oxnard Bulls win championship

HIGHLIGHTS: Oxnard Bulls — The eighth-grade boys captured the Kenny Smith Tournament championship with a 40-33 win over the Antelope Valley Hoyas 40-33 in Anaheim. The Bulls have won championships. In pool play, the Bulls were defeated by the Antelope Valley Hoyas 59-56 and the Bulls defeated Bakersfield 62-47. The Bulls are Gabriel Camacho, Richard Craig, Zandro Diaz, Frank Fassl, Matthew Federis, Tyson Hall and Chris Willis. The coaches are Zandro Diaz, Alfonso Hall and James Federis.

NETS SEEK PLAYERS: The Ventura Nets are seeking girls in third and fourth grade to play summer games in Ventura. Information: Charlie Feyh at 654-0743.
