Firefighters put out small Simi brush fire

Ventura County firefighters helped extinguish a small fire in Simi Valley this afternoon.

The fire, which was in Los Angeles County, measured about one-eighth acre.

It was reported about 1:40 p.m. near the westbound side of Highway 118 at Rocky Peak Road.

It was extinguished in less than an hour.
