Water Fronts: Bikini Machine, Jaded win all three

Bikini Machine and Jaded had perfect records Saturday to win their classes in Channel Islands Yacht Club's Port Royal Regatta.

Bikini Machine, an Olson 30 co-skippered by Avery Stewart and Garrett Baum, won all three races in the PHRF Class.

Jaded, skippered by Deke Klatt, won all three races in the J-24 class.

The second race had to be abandoned and resailed when the leeward mark drug anchor and drifted into the surf line near the Mandalay power plant.

Bikini Machine moved four points ahead of Perfect Balance in the hotly contested battle for the county high point championship. Perfect Balance took second in all three races.

The regatta was rescheduled from earlier in the year when it was blown out by stormy conditions.
