Keller Williams Camarillo Market Center celebrates successful spring food drive
The sales team from the Keller Williams Camarillo Market Center announced the enormous success of its Third Annual Spring Food Drive which benefited FOODShare Inc., of Ventura County.
Keller Williams Realty has a long-standing history of community involvement, most notably through KW Cares, a nonprofit organization set up by Keller Williams Realty International designed specifically to extend assistance to Keller Williams associates and their families in times of unexpected, tragic circumstances.
"The drive was an opportunity to benefit all of those communities that Keller Williams Realty serves," said Karen Elder, head of the KW Community Leadership Foundation.
"It is so amazing the participation we get from the community year after year with the food drive. This is why we love this community so much!" said Patty Harrington, Market Center administrator of the Ventura Coast Market Center in Camarillo.
Many Keller Williams associates participated in the Food Drive collecting more than 15 bins and in excess of 1,000 pounds of food for FOODShare. The company's Central and Southern California region collectively distributed 50,000 bags.
This is an annual event at Keller Williams Realty and both the associates and staff are already looking forward to next year's planning. To learn more about Keller Williams Realty call Cristina Better at 504-8183 or visit the Web site at http://www.kwcamarillo.com.
