NEWBURY PARK: Newbury Park Girls Softball welcomes all girls ages 4 to 14 to register for recreational league play in 2008. Player evaluations will be conducted at Borchard Park on Jan. 5, for 8-and-under and 10-and-under divisions, and on Jan. 12, for 12-and-under and 14-and-under divisions. CAMARILLO REGISTRATION: Camarillo Pony Baseball will hold registration through Jan. 3 for players ages 5-19. WARRIORS HOST TOURNAMENT: The Ventura County Warriors will host a pre-Martin Luther King Tournament on Jan. 11-13 at Ventura's Camino Real Park and the Oxnard Softball Complex.
