GARY BONNER SINGERS WILL SING IN CAMARILLO
CAMARILLO UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
HOSTS GARY BONNER SINGERS SUNDAY, JAN. 20
The distinguished Gary Bonner Singers, with 65 members, will present a concert of choral music at the Camarillo United Methodist Church Sunday, Jan. 20, at 4 p.m.
The concert is open to the public. A free-will offering will be taken. The event is part of the church's Fine Arts Series.
"This choral ensemble has distinguished themselves with their musical excellence and versatility, sparking performances, and warm, vibrant choral tone," according to Dr. Lynn Decker-Mahin, church music director. "Their unique style emphasizes communication and a relationship with the audience."
The Bonner Singers have made 18 recordings and eight albums, including five with Christmas music.
In December 2006, the group performed at the White House. The Bonner Singers have also performed at the Crystal Cathedral, Church on the Way, Knott's Berry Farm, with the Capistrano Valley Symphony, and throughout Southern California.
