St. Bonaventure finishes No. 7 in state rankings
CIF Division III state champion St. Bonaventure High is No. 7 in the final CalHiSports.com football rankings.
St. Bonaventure (14-1) won the CIF-Southern Section Northern Division title by beating Hart and captured the Division III state crown with a 35-21 win over Modesto Central Catholic.
Ranked No. 1 in the CalHiSports.com's preseason rankings, St. Bonaventure's only loss of the season was a non-league game to Crespi, which finished No. 6 in the final rankings.
Defending state champion Oaks Christian (1) was ranked No. 36. Oaks Christian won its fifth consecutive section title.
