Students from Shotokan Karate of Newbury Park recently collected over 30 toys to donate to Interface Family Services in Camarillo. The students hope the toys will help to ease the stress of children from families in transition during the holidays.
"It is the season for giving and sharing," said Trudy Tanita, a student at the dojo.
Sensei Mike Szydlowski, who coordinated the toy drive, stated "Our students wanted to do something for kids who are having a tough time. We hope the kids know that we care about them."
