Parvin is appointed a member of LAFCO

More from County NewsMoorpark Councilwoman Janice Parvin has been appointed as a regular member of the Ventura Local Agency Formation Commission.
The Ventura City Selection Committee, made up of mayors from each city in the county, appointed Parvin this month to a four-year term, which begins Jan. 1.
Parvin currently serves on LAFCO as the city alternate member.
Carl Morehouse, a council member representing the city of Ventura, was appointed by the committee to fill the city alternate member seat.
