Christian Women to meet Jan. 4
The Camarillo Christian Women's Club will hold its "Cheer the Year" luncheon at 11 a.m. Jan. 4 at Spanish Hills Golf and Country Club, 999 Crestview Ave.
Camarillo Hospice will share information about its specialized service to the community.
Guest speaker will be Gloria Feralio, an actress and real estate professional, who will speak on "How Your Life Can Have a Happy Ending."
Dress code is no denim. Reservations are due by Dec. 28.

VENTURA
Rheinland Club sets New Year's event
The Ventura Rheinland Club will hold a New Year's Eve Gala Ball at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 31 at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 36 S. Figueroa St.
The evening will feature music by the John Borowitz Band, all-you-can-eat buffet and champagne at midnight. A full bar is available.
Festivities will close at 1 a.m.
Cost is $45 payable to the Ventura Rheinland Club and can be mailed by Monday to Wally Weiss, 1132 Via Arroyo, Ventura, CA 93003.
