Sketch of man who harassed girl released
Authorities on Monday released a composite drawing of the man wanted for hiding in a women's restroom at Pleasant Valley Park in Camarillo and peeking into a stall being used by a girl.
On Dec. 6, a 12-year-old girl saw the man standing on a toilet in the restroom at 1500 Temple Ave., and looking into the next stall, which was occupied by the girl's 13-year-old sister, according to a statement from the Camarillo Police Department.
The man pushed the door closed, locked it and said something in a fake female voice. The two girls left the restroom and joined a 14-year-old girl who had been waiting for them outside, police said.
The man reportedly followed the girls on foot for about five minutes and then turned around and went back to the park. The girls then ran into the Boys & Girls Club on Temple Avenue to report the incident.
Police were unable to find the man in the area.
Anyone with any information regarding this incident may contact Camarillo detectives at 388-5100, or Ventura County Crime Stoppers at 987-TALK. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest and criminal complaint in this case.
